THE STONE COTTAGE

(Logan's discovery)

Young Logan and his cousins — Anna, Grant, Eli, and Ady — are spending time at their Grandma Ellie’s house when Logan stumbles upon a mysterious stone cottage hidden deep in the woods. Inside, they find relics of another time: carved animals, old furniture, and beautiful glassware.

To their surprise, they meet Lt. Gregor Smith, a ghostly figure from World War I, who once lived in the cottage after returning from the war. Gregor shares stories of his solitary life in the woods, his hand-carved treasures, and the emotional burdens he carried after the war. He gifts the children his carvings and, eventually, leaves them a hidden treasure — an inheritance left by their great-great-grandfather Albert Magee and Gregor himself.
