THE AUTHOR

Dr. Fisher is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and now resides in Belize, Central America.

He received his Bachelors of Science, and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Fisher worked as a Chemical Engineer for the Monsanto Company prior to returning to Washington University to receive his dental degree.

He is a decorated veteran of the Gulf War, and spent 29 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves, while managing the Fisher Wellness Center in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Dr. Perdita Jay Fisher.

Dr. Fisher was appointed to the Missouri Board of Health and Senior Services by Governor Carnahan, and served under Governors’ Holden and Blunt. Years of service to the State of Missouri awakened Dr. Fisher to the health disparities across America, and the need to campaign for more preventive healthcare measures.

His more than 40 years of treating patients with chronic diseases, greatly influenced his desire to promote healthy lifestyles and environmental preservation. Since the food we consume is responsible for most disease, Dr. Fisher developed an organic farm in Belize, and founded Ghan Eden Agriculture & Ecology Enterprise (GEAEE) to explore best practices in farming, conservation, and nutrition.

GEAEE is a non-profit dedicated to overall health, and encompasses nutrition, healthy lifestyle, environmental preservation, access to healthcare, and education.

His first book, “Prescription for a Sick Nation”, exposes the healthcare industries agenda, envisioned by John D. Rockefeller, to place monetary gain above patient health and efficacy. So, today allopathic medicine, which promotes drugs, hospitalization, and surgery over natural and non-invasive cures, has become the standard of care.

Dr, Fisher has served on numerous Boards of Directors. These include the United Way of Greater St. Louis, Give Kids A Smile, Health Works Kids Museum, Better Family Life, and Delta Dental of Missouri.

He currently serves as Director of Quality Assurance for Gateway to Oral Health Foundation, a free in-school dental program.
